The Courses

The courses aim at preparing students to work as Fashion Designers, Production Managers, Client Service Managers or Merchandisers in the fashion industry in India & abroad. The students are exposed to the entire process of the garment industry - from concept to finished product to merchandising using the latest computer aided design packages in fashion.

The two year full time diploma course in Fashion Technology includes project work in the industry and students shall present their creations in a fashion show choreographed by themselves. Full Time students also have an option to complete the last semester in UK at an additional fee.

The Diploma can be topped with a Degree in UK. Students can also avail of the opportunity for a one month study program every year at the UK campus. Part time courses of varying durations are available in Fashion Design, Fashion Illustration & Portfolio Presentation, Indian Dress Designing, Pattern Making & Production, Textile Design.

--- 3 year advance diploma in fashion technology - 5 days (6 hrs, a day) a week
--- 2 year diploma in fashion technology - 5 days (3 hrs a day) a week
--- 1 year advance certificate in fashion design - 3 days (1.5 hrs a day) a week
--- 1 year advance certificate in textile design - 3 days (1.5 hrs a day) a week
--- 3 months certificate in indian dress design - 3 days (1.5 hrs. a day) a week
--- 6 months certificate in pattern making & production technology - 3 days (1.5 hrs a day)
--- 3 months certificate in fashion illustration - 3 days (1.5 hrs a day) a week

Dedicated campus, well-equipped air-conditioned classrooms, state-of-the-art industrial sewing and special machines, design studio, library and computers. The faculty is a team of highly qualified professionals.

Every student will be entitled to the services of our Placement Cells backed by Wigan & Leigh, UK.

Eligibility

Class XII for the full time course. Candidates who have appeared for Class XII examinations this year are also eligible. There is no minimum criterion for the part time courses.

Selection

Admission to the full time programme is strictly on merit, as assessed by the entrance examination followed by an interview. There are no tests for the part time courses.

Start Date

The next batch of the two year full time diploma starts in the beginning of August. Part time courses  started at regular intervals from August 1, 1998.
